About the Show

A trendy, married, New York couple, Barbara and David, take the spotlight in this hysterical Broadway comedy about two art dealers and their crazy relatives. Their perfect life on Manhattan’s Upper East Side is disturbed when the wife’s goofy sister, Trudy, her uptight CPA husband, Martin, and their overbearing Jewish mother, Sophie, arrive on their doorstep.

They need to rush to Buffalo to save their sexually precocious college-student daughter from the horrors of a throuple with her two male roommates. But the sparks really fly when Sophie meets Maurice, the suave elderly artist who happens to be the gallery’s most famous painter. His desire to paint Sophie’s portrait takes everyone by surprise, especially knowing he specializes in nude expressionism. Can a hot, sexy romance happen at any age? ‘SOCIAL SECURITY’ has the answer.
